

REV. DONALD L. PHILLIPS, III
Rev. Donald L. Phillips, III is a native of Detroit, MI and the son of Rev. William D. Phillips and Rev. Cheryl D. Phillips, pastors of Parks Memorial AME Church in Romulus, Michigan. Rev. Phillips has a B.S. degree from Michigan State University in Human Resources/Interdisciplinary Studies, and a Masters of Divinity degree from Turner Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia. He served for 4 years as the young adult and youth pastor of Greater Turner Chapel AME Church in Atlanta. He assisted and ministered to students at Morris Brown, Clark-Atlanta, Spelman and Morehouse Colleges. Rev. Phillips was ordained an elder in August of 2004 under the leadership of Bishop Philip R. Cousin.
He now serves as the pastor of Lewis Chapel AME Church in Albion, MI and is the vice-president of the Albion Ministerial Association. Pastor Pillips is also a member of the Strategic Planning Committee of Albion College and a member of the Albion Ministerial Alliance and the Albion Branch of the NAACP. God has blessed him to teach and preach nationally and internationally including Canada, Jamaica and Bermuda, but none of that compares to marrying the former Teleah Young-Hamilton on April 19th, 2008. They are raising a wonderful son Tyland and daughter Taylor Donielle Phillips. Pastor Phillips is a strong believer in the power of prayer. He also understands that he is called to take a powerful, relevant, and down to earth word where ever God sends him.
